As disciples of Jesus Christ we are called to be in mission and ministry to our local community as well as the world. These are some of the ways we take care of each other.
MCUMC is a Stephen Ministry church. This program teaches laypersons to provide one-on-one care for individuals facing a life crisis.
Tend My Sheep Haiti is an agricultural ministry working to develop a farm to grow vegetables, fruit, and meat to support local communities and to employ local workers to provide for their families.
The FELT (Feeding Empty Little Tummies) program works with a local elementary school to provide weekend food for children in need.
Karina provides emotional relief utilizing expressive arts and pre-vocational training for special gifted youth and adults.
United Churches Assistance Network (UCAN) is an emergency assistance cooperative organization designed by member-churches to offer financial and referral help to those in need in our local community.
Manna House offers assistance and support to the homeless, poor and needy of Baltimore with services contributing toward their independence and stability.

Planet Aid’s mission is to inform, mobilize, and inspire individuals and communities to work together to bring about worldwide environmental and social progress by collecting and recycling textiles to protect the environment, reduce waste, and increase the efficient use of vital resources.
Araminta Freedom Initiative’s mission is to awaken, equip, and mobilize the Church and community in Maryland to end human trafficking through education, prevention strategies, and restorative survivor services.
