Kids and Youth Mark 10:14 says “… Jesus said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” We welcome children of all ages at MCUMC and have many programs in place to help them grow in faith.

 

A professionally staffed nursery is available during the 10:30 service.  Older children may pick up activities and books from our Kids Corner bookcase to help calm the wiggles during the service.

Sunday School Children’s Sunday School classes are taught during the school year, and meet Sunday mornings 11am after

the Children’s Message in the Worship Center. The Sunday School hour at Mays Chapel is a time for learning, for giving, and for enjoying the richness of life in a warm Christian community.

 

HYPE Our HYPE (Helping Youth Proclaim Emmanuel) program was developed by a group of pastors and youth educators from three local churches. They saw a need for a larger community of youth to support each other and grow together in faith. This group is geared toward middle and high school students.
