Sunday mornings at Mays Chapel UMC are happy, active, and alive… there’s something for everyone because we know that it’s important to not only learn about God, but to experience God with each other. Come and see for yourself what God is doing here at Mays Chapel.

Our family of faith understands that it’s okay that people like to worship in diverse ways. We offer three worship services each Sunday featuring three distinct worship styles:

8:00 Relaxed Worship in the Stone Chapel: We celebrate communion every week, sing traditional hymns, and praise God with a small but dedicated choir. The atmosphere and the liturgy tend to be more relaxed and we’ve been known for our hearty laughter.

10:15 Contemporary Service in the Worship Center: This service features monthly communion and two spirited praise bands who alternate each Sunday. A children’s message is delivered most Sundays and we have a “pray ground” – a small section featuring quiet children’s toys and books – so our littlest ones can be engaged in worship.

11:30 Traditional Service in the Stone Chapel: This is our most traditional service that includes weekly communion and follows a conventional liturgical sequence.
